A Swiss Pokémon Tale
In the heart of Switzerland, nestled between majestic mountains and crystal-clear lakes, lived a man named Alex
By day, Alex was The Signal Master. Working in communication, he kept signals flowing, networks strong, and connections alive. Like a modern-day Alakazam of communication, he could troubleshoot a system failure faster than a Zapdos flying straight into a thunderstorm.
But when the working day ended, another passion took over: Pokémon.
Beside him was MJ — The Healing Heart.
As a chief nurse, MJ brought calm to chaos, healing to those who needed it, and leadership to her team. With the compassion of Chansey and the strength of Blissey, she somehow managed to keep everything under control — including Alex's increasingly questionable definition of "just buying a few more Pokémon products."
Together, Alex and MJ built a beautiful life with their two children. Their home was filled with laughter, bedtime stories, Pokémon battles and the occasional family debate over who had the better collection.
Then, one rainy Saturday, everything changed.
While digging through an old closet, Alex discovered a dusty box filled with treasures from another era:
his childhood Pokémon cards.
Charizard.
Mewtwo.
Pikachu.
The children's eyes lit up like someone had just pulled a god pack.
What started as nostalgia quickly became something more.
A passion returned.
Then came the buying.
Then the selling.
Then more buying.
Then considerably more buying.
And eventually somebody had to admit that this was no longer simply a hobby.
PokéReaves was being born.
But every great Pokémon adventure needs a team.
And two more trainers were about to join the party.
Ainz — The PSA Beast
First came Ainz.
Charismatic, energetic and armed with an almost suspicious ability to judge whether a card had PSA 10 potential, Ainz became the team's PSA Beast.
Where normal people saw a Pokémon card, Ainz saw centering, corners, edges and surfaces.
A microscopic white dot?
He saw it.
A print line invisible to the human eye?
He probably saw that too.
A card somebody confidently declared "definitely a 10"?
Ainz would take one look at it and quietly destroy their dreams.
But grading knowledge was only part of what he brought to PokéReaves.
His personality, passion for the hobby and ability to connect with collectors made him a natural part of the company's identity. He became not simply a specialist behind the scenes, but one of the people representing what PokéReaves was becoming.
Founder. Board member. Collector. PSA Beast.
The team was getting stronger.
But there was still one problem.
Someone had to deal with all those boxes.
José — The Logistics Master & God Pack Prophet
Enter José.
If Alex could create connections and Ainz could find PSA 10s, José possessed another legendary ability:
making order out of absolute logistical chaos.
Products arriving.
Products leaving.
Cases everywhere.
Preorders.
Stock movements.
Warehouses.
Labels.
Boxes inside boxes inside considerably larger boxes.
Where others saw chaos, José saw a system waiting to happen.
He became The Logistics Master — the man helping ensure that the increasingly ambitious PokéReaves machine could actually move.
But logistics was only one part of the legend.
Because somewhere along the journey, José helped create something even more dangerous:
The Religion of the God Pack.
The God Pack wasn't simply about opening cards.
It was the eternal belief that the next pack could be THE pack.
One more booster.
One more display.
One more case.
"Trust me, this one has it! Hallo GODPACK??"
A philosophy was born.
A movement followed.
And José became its prophet.
Founder. Board member. Logistics Master. Creator of the God Pack religion.
There was no going back.
Four Different Powers. One Team.
PokéReaves was no longer simply Alex's side project.
It had evolved.
Alex — The Signal Master, connecting people, opportunities, suppliers and ideas while constantly searching for the next evolution of the business.
Maria — The Healing Heart, bringing stability, perspective and the human side that keeps the adventure grounded.
Ainz — The PSA Beast, bringing grading expertise, charisma and collector knowledge.
José — The Logistics Master and God Pack Prophet, turning chaos into operations while spreading the sacred belief that the next pack is always the one.
And, somewhere behind the curtain, Brad was probably still doing the actual website work while Alex took the credit for his "communication skills."
What began with childhood cards rediscovered in an old box had become something much bigger.
A company.
A community.
A team of collectors.
And a group of slightly Pokémon-obsessed people who somehow turned their passion into a real business.
PokéReaves isn't simply about selling cards.
It's about the excitement of opening a pack.
The ridiculous negotiations between collectors.
The card you've been hunting for months.
The PSA submission you're convinced contains a 10.
The friendships made at events.
The boxes stacked far higher than anyone originally planned.
And, above everything else, the people sharing the adventure.
Because sometimes the rarest treasure isn't the Charizard.
It isn't the PSA 10.
It isn't even the mythical God Pack.
It's finding the right people to build the journey with.
